mile post 11-1/2 on the "beach road"
From the North & Northwest
Take Hwy 168 South through Chesapeak, VA from Norfolk, VA beltway.
Hwy 168 tuns into Hwy 158.
Follow Hwy 158 South to the Outer Banks.
Once on the Outer Banks, Hwy 158 (Bypass) runs parallel with Hwy 12 (Beach road)
(Hwy 12 is also So. Virginia Dare Trail)
Stay on 158 through Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills and then to Nags Head.
Once in Nags Head, look for Ace Hardware store on right and turn left at stop light on E. Barnes St.
Go 2 blocks & turn right on So. Virginia Dare Trail and go approx. 1/2 mile.
Look for Colonial Inn Motel on left (3329 So. Virg. Dare Trl.) next to the Nags Head Fishing Pier.

From the South & Southwest
Take Hwy 64 East to Manteo, NC.
Continue through Manteo on Hwy 64.
After Bridge take Hwy 158 North.
Continue on Hwy 158 North past Jockey's Ridge on left and Kitty Hawk Kites on right.

Turn right on Hollowell St. and then left onto Hwy 12 North (So. Virginia Dare Trail)

Look for Colonial Inn Motel on right (3329 So. Virg. Dare Trl.) next to the Nags Head Fishing Pier.
